Full Moon Over Hard Time San Quentin California State Prison 7D18546 v2 Long
Life in the big house has never been a stroll in the park. You learn to sleep with one eye open and the most you can pray for every night is to see the morning sunrise. Living in the state penitentiary system is an oxymoron, there is no living here, you just do your time and hope you don't die before you get out, that's if you get out. It's Hell on earth. Johnny Cash wrote a song about walking the line in prison, and I'll tell ya, it's not a grocery line and it's no cake walk either. Robert Blake had a catchy jingle in his television show "Baretta", "Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time!" Words to live by. Once you've made it inside the gates, you'll never make it out. The only hope that keeps you going in the joint is knowing that if you stay alive long enough in here, you will be able to see a semblance of the life you once had when the memories of the outside life shows itself in the shadows of the next Full Moon Over Hard Time. -W
Opened in July 1852, it is the oldest prison in California. The state's only death row for male inmates, the largest in the United States, is located at the prison. It has a gas chamber, but since 1996, executions at the prison have been carried out by lethal injection. The prison has been featured on film, video, and television; is the subject of many books; has hosted concerts; and has housed many notorious inmates. -wikipedia
