Life At The Old Milk Farm Restaurant After The Lights Went Out For The Last Time In 1986 with text
Ever wonder what happened to the old Milk Farm Restaurant off of Highway I-80 in Dixon, California? The same Milk Farm Restaurant that you passed hundreds of times on your ski trips going from the Bay Area to Tahoe. You might even have stopped off there for an early breakfast during those trips. Built and owned by Karl A. Hess in 1928, the restaurant was the beacon that signaled the halfway point to the mountains. Then suddenly, in 1986, the lights went out for the final time. So what ever happened to the old Milk Farm Restaurant? The Milk Cows are still out there waiting every night, keeping in top form for their curtain call.
